About Ian Hughes and Boston Growth Marketing

Boston Growth Marketing is a team of more than 20 people, each an expert in their own field, led by founder and CEO, Ian Hughes. We have at least a couple hundred years of combined work experience in fields that include marketing, design, development, operations, and writing.

In the 9 years since Boston Growth Marketing was founded, we’ve worked with well over 100 startups on their go-to-market strategies and execution within the B2B and B2C spaces.

Ian Hughes has over 25 years experience in leading marketing teams and developing digital strategy for a wide range of companies, primarily in the B2B space. He has served as a mentor in PayPal’s Start Tank, an early-stage, Boston accelerator and is the founder of Boston Growth Marketing. He has led marketing and design teams in all types of companies, from hands-on leadership roles at early-stage startups to Fortune 100 enterprises like PayPal and eBay.

Ian finished his undergrad studies in San Diego with a major in English. He holds a M.S. in Advertising from Northeastern and a M.B.A. from Boston University.
